Easy Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2012
In a way, I didn't really make this recipe because I couldn't find the crumbles at my local store, so I used Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage and cooked it myself. I have to say, though, that the recipe is so easy to follow, so easy to make perfectly, that I am giving it five stars. I'm not good at gravy, but this came out so smooth and creamy. Loved it! It reheats well in the microwave, too.

Creamed Chicken for Biscuits

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2011
The flavor of this dish is excellent, though I left out the peas (my husband HATES them) and the almonds. I used whole milk, however, and it didn't thicken. I don't know what went wrong, but I will definitely try again because it tastes so good!

Chocolate Covered Easter Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
This recipe is exactly what I wanted. I made peanut butter and coconut. I thought I'd like the peanut butter best, but the coconut are outstanding! I added about half a teaspoon of salt to balance the sweetness a bit and I left out about half a pound of the powdered sugar. The peanut butter would have been better with the right amount of sugar. I used a cookie scoop to help get them the right size then used the shape of a Reese's egg to inspire the shape. Having them flattened made dipping very easy. I gave one to each of my nieces and nephews for Easter and they loved them, too. Yum and yum! I will definitely make these again.
