Savory Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
I have never made Deviled Eggs before and had trouble peeling them so I mashed up the entire egg - used this exact recipe - and said it was Egg Salad. Everyone said it was the best they had ever had.

Roasted and Curried Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2011
I roasted the veggies the night before and then put in refrigerator ready to be pureed the next day. Very delicious - everyone loved - and doing that step the day before made it far easier.

Super Easy Seared Ahi Tuna

We have made this the last few years at christmas and it is great. I cook some more well done for my family members who don't like sushi. For those of us who do like sushi, can't beat this recipe!

Hot Spiced Cranberry Cider

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
Must make with cranapple! Delicious. **********If you use regular cranberry juice it is very TART. Made my dad start drooling. We think it is much better with cran-apple or reduced sugar cranberry juice because we don't like drool inducing tartness. The spice mix is great.

We have made this for the last few years at Christmas. It is delicious. It would also be good with no oysters for vegetarians.

Smoked Salmon Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
AMAZING! This was so impressive I will make it again and again. I put it in a round mold and then garnished with green onions all around it. I also added 4 oz. of smoked salmon to make it less cheesy and 1 TBSP of lemon zest.

Baked Seafood Au Gratin

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
This is a good start but it is a little bland for me. I did the crust as directed with fresh crab and it was delicious. I reduced the flour in the sauce by 1/4 cup and the sauce was fine. I also used 16 oz of clam juice and 1 cup of white wine to cook the fish in. I will make again but will experiment with adding garlic and/or salt or maybe even nutmeg and/or white pepper. We served it with a side of linguine lightly dressed in evoo.

This is great. I made it the night before (no breadcrumbs) and didn't bake it. The day of my event, I let it get to room temperature and then baked as normal. Delicious

Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
This was awesome. I made the dressing 4 days ahead of time and it was great. I accidentally left off the apple and pear and it was great without it. Next time will not use them so I don't have to worry about brown spots.
