Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2009
This bread is so good. My husband and I had the first loaf almost gone when it was still warm from the oven. I used about a half a stick of butter and less oil. I also split the top and brushed it with butter every ten minutes while baking and on the last 10 minutes I brushed it with egg white. So easy to make. Thanks for ruining my diet lol.

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2009
It was soo good. I added some cayanne pepper and basil when I salted and peppered the fish before baking. I also mixed in diced onions and mushrooms to the glaze and used them as a garnish. I can't wait to make it again!

Sugar Cookie Frosting

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
This recipe is yet another reason why I have to go to the gym! It is so good I could eat it by itself. I did add some strawberry flavoring and later added some amaretto. It finishes so well on sugar cookies. It would be a great cake icing too.

Fresh Asparagus Soup

Reviewed: May 5, 2010
This was so great! I didn't have any Parmesan cheese but it was still delicious. I did keep about 1/3 of my cooked asparagus and onion out and added them into the soup whole. It give you something to chew.

Lemon-Orange Orange Roughy

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2013
Wow, so good! I put some garlic cloves in with everything else. I also sliced some butter and put it on top of the fish. Then covered the pan until the fish flaked. I never thought of adding some Old Bay Seasoning, like someone else suggested. I will have to try that next time! I remember my grandmother making orange roughy for me. The taste always brings back great memories.
