Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2011
I loved it! But of course I did make just a few changes. I am not a fan of raisins, so used some fresh black figs for sweetness, since that's what I had. I also added turkey bacon, which doesn't quite I sliced it into small pieces. Next time I think that fresh grapes would be a perfect compliment to this!

Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2010
Quick, easy and delicious! I read the reviews and used parchment paper which made the rolling process quite easy. I also cooked the meatloaf covered surrounded by carrots. Turned out great. I will be making this again...

Asparagus and Smoked Salmon Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
Yummy! I was a bit skeptical because I felt that the salad needed more looks all green except the salmon of course. And I did change several things to use what I had on hand. I used 1 head of romaine and a bag of fresh spinach, and walnuts. I was happy with the results! I will be making this again...

Bacon Mushroom Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2010
We loved this! With just a few changes of course. I left out the butter and used PAM as another reviewer suggested. I used boneless chicken breasts w/o skin. I used dried garlic instead of fresh and quite a bit more mushrooms. I followed another reviewers advice and took the bacon off of the chicken to crisp more for the last 10 min. Since several reviewers mentioned the sauce being too runny I prepared the sauce with the mushrooms so I wouldn't have to add flour or other thickening agent. NOT enough time I may double the sauce ingredients. We will definitely be making this again!!

Nutty Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
I doubled the ingredients for the dressing and used about half and half olive oil and vegetable oil. I traded out the pine nuts for walnuts and used mini romaine that was pre-washed and ready to eat. I only let the dressing sit for 3-4 hours at room temp. Took it to my friends place for dinner and it was DELICIOUS!! I will certainly be making this again.

Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
I loved these and so did the others at the cookie exchange I made them for! I did make a few changes. I added a bit of cinnamon and drizzled the dough generously with honey right before putting on the cookie sheets. Enjoy! I did.
