About this Cook
I am a wife and mother in her twenties working 55 hr weeks and destressing in the kitchen!
My favorite things to cook
Dishes with fresh vegetables-I love vegetables and am very health conscious. I also have a love love relationship with spicy food- jalapenos=love!
My cooking triumphs
Chicken skillet has become a standby in my house--Cook chicken breast in whatever dressing I have handy then throw in more dressing, rice, chicken broth, fresh veggies, and whatever spice I'm in the mood for. It's always delicious. I've also had a very successful chili and spaghetti sauce experience.
My cooking tragedies
Attempted to make cookies with Andes mint chips-they tasted bizarre! I am currently working on brownies and have been unsuccessful as yet.

Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Lasagna
This was pretty darn good! My only issue was that my noodles were a little overchewy the night I made it. Problem is (as is always with lasagna) they were perfect the next day so perhaps I should just let it sit longer!

Moroccan Lentil Soup
I loved this. My husband wasn't crazy about it, but I knew it was a stretch for him with this combination of flavors before I made it. I made the recipe as is, except I doubled the carrots, celery, and cayenne pepper. Next time I might add even more carrots and celery.
