This is a great recipe! I don't have a bread machine, so I followed Jules instructions and mixed dry ingredients in bowl and wet in another, mixing the yeast and warm water first. I used bread flour instead of all purpose flour. The first loaf I made turned out very good. On my second try of the recipe, I stuck with the bread flour and increased the salt a bit using a heaping tsp. I also added 2 eggs which made for a lighter and finer texture. The loaf turned out even better than my first try! It was especially good warm out of the oven with some butter! Baking this bread will likely become a regular Sunday morning ritual.
