About this Cook
I'm 21 years old and I've been married almost a year to the most wonderful best friend I could ever have. He loves my cooking, even if I hate something I've made. He definitely keeps my ego up. I'm currently a student studying Graphic Design at BYU-Idaho. I'm excited to create great art, tasty food, and cute babies. :)
My favorite things to cook
I love making bread sticks, pizzas, pies, and casseroles. I want to be better at making meat dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I came from a home that didn't cook a lot. I've never realized what a passion I have for it! I'm excited to start some cooking traditions as my family grows.
My cooking triumphs
When my husband gets all excited and shivers like a little puppy after tasting something I've made. :)
My cooking tragedies
There are too many. Recently, I boiled (instead of simmered) some barbecued round steaks and they tasted like beef jerky. Not horrible if you like jerky... I guess?

Easy Peach Cobbler
Yum! I did the same as most: two cans of peaches (maybe a little less than a cup of juice) and the cream cheese mixed in with the cake mix, also melted the butter and poured on top. Turned out perfect!! The crust was a golden brown and nothing was undercooked. We baked it for about an hour. The cream cheese makes the crust FANTASTIC.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust
The dough was the best I've found, and I've been looking for a while. I took one reviewer's advice and added garlic powder and pizza/Italian seasoning in with the salt and oil. This crust tastes amazing, is chewy and soft, and has a perfect slightly crunchy outer crust. This will be my crust from now on.

BBQ Chicken Pizza II
Definitely put a thin layer of cream cheese underneath the BBQ sauce, it's amazing!
