We loved it after making a few adjustments to use what I had on hand. First adjustment was to use the recipe ajdustment to make 16 servings since I had 2 pounds of ground turkey to use up. I browned onions, peppers (use red, green, & banana which I had on hand), and garlic in the oil. Then I browned the ground turkey. I did not added the water. I only had 32 ounce cans of crushed tomatoes, so I did not feel I needed extra water. I used extra cumin and added brown sugar. I did let is simmer longer as we were not ready to eat after 30 mins.
I served in bowls top with shredded Mexican Blend Cheese (what I had on hand) and cornbread on the side.
