Pork Stew in Green Salsa (Guisado de Puerco con Tomatillos)

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
This was phenomenal. Took a risk and served it for company the first time I made it. It was a big hit! I did add diced potatoes as I had seen that in another green chile stew recipe and I think it may have cut the heat just a little. Certainly not necessary though. Thanks for the great recipe!

Crispy Baked French Toast

Reviewed: May 29, 2011
I used french baguette in this recipe, wow was it GOOD!!! I sprinkled cinnamon on one side of the soaked bread before adding the breadcrumbs. It is quite greasy/oily, I may try using less butter or oil next time. This is an awesome french toast recipe!

Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2011
Good, basic recipe. I used some Sun Dried Tomato chicken sausage and added a little onion and garlic to the saute. I added water or chicken broth to cover the bottom of the pan to keep the potatoes from sticking.

Slow Cooker Fruit, Nuts, and Spice Oatmeal

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2010
Extremely disappointing. Awakened to this great-smelling stuff, looking forward to a comfortable breakfast, only to find a burned mess! And I added extra water per the comments of others. Expensive ingredients to have to throw out. If I try again, will definitely use at least a 4:1 liquid to oatmeal ratio - probably more.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

This is SOOOOO good! Works fine if you downsize it. Other than adjusting quantity, didn't change a thing. Yum.

Double Crust Stuffed Pizza

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
Very labor intensive, but the results were very good. The dough can be made in the bread machine on dough cycle, but I found I needed to add 1/2 c. flour. The crust was great though! The sausage patty added a LOT of grease to the pizza, but then the diet conscious probably aren't going to be indulging in deep dish Chicago style pizza ; ) Certainly need to cover the edges of the pan in foil so the crust doesn't over-brown. I left the sugar out of the tomato sauce, just not a sweet sauce fan.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
GREAT recipe! Really enjoyed making these with my 5-year-old daughter, who helped me add the ingredients to the bread machine, rolled out the dough, sprinkled on the sugar/cinnamon, helped me roll up the sprinkled dough, and placed the pieces in the pan (with help!). These cinnamon rolls may be the best I've ever tasted.

Mexican Rice II

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
My favorite Mexican Rice recipe because it's very similar to the rice I get in one of my fav local restaurants. Can decrease oil by 1/2 and not miss out on anything.
