About Me
I'm a 58 yr old wife, mom to 1 son and busia(grandma)to 2 grandsons. Married for 30 yrs. to a man that loves to eat. Retired due to health reasons.
My favorite things to cook
I love just about all cooking but excel in desserts. I also like to try different ethnic cooking even if my guys poke at it to see what it is. Still do some catering for family and friends, showers, weddings etc.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas cookies with my son's girlfriend, sister, nieces and great-niece, and making pierogi with my son, and the above group. Also making a family dinner for the other holidays and anytime we can get together with my in-laws.
My cooking triumphs
Usually Thanksgiving and Christmas. The best was doing my son's friend's wedding by myself for 200 people and making a typical polish meal.
My cooking tragedies
Trying to do my husband's job of grilling steaks and doing all the sides in the house. Forgot to keep track of steaks(oops). Also known to have trouble making polish coffee cake like my grandmother.
