About this Cook
I've been married 15 years this past December 2012 to the love of my life. I am from a large family of 7 and have a twin sister named Rosie:)
My favorite things to cook
Almost everything but having the hardest time with fish and planning on learning some tricks of the trade in 2013.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Mom's parent are from Austria and she makes the best streudel among her many excellent dishes.
My cooking triumphs
Always been pretty good at roasts but just made Chicken Marsala tonight and this is at the top of the list.
My cooking tragedies
Which one...ha! I'll have to get back on this one to remember the absolute worst. There's been so many over the years, haha! Rule #1 for 2013 to not get distracted when something is on the stove!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken
Wow! Amazing on boneless breast too! Oh yummmm! Remember to put foil in you pan, this helps a ton with cleanup. SO delicious!

Apple Crisp III
I know I've made something great when my MOM asks for the recipe! She's taught me everything I know about cooking and was an amazing cook for all 7 of us kids. Only thing I switched up (super minor) I poured the water over the apples and then sprinkled the cinnamon on top. That was it! Try'll be a super star;)

Bean with Bacon
Wow! I don't normally like this type of soup but made if for my husband and by far this is the BEST soup I've made to-date! I used 2 cans of Northern Beans instead of the Navy Beans and also added 2 cans of Campbells Bean & Bacon Soup to build up the base. Make sure your chop up your bacon before cooking makes it so much easier to cook without having to crumble it afterwards. I may have also added a few cubed potatoes. Beyond amazing! Try this soup, you won't be sorry:)
