when i was about 10, i decided to make cookies under my mom's "supervision". while she was on the phone and only half-watching me, i unknowingly substituted the sugar in the recipe for salt...what a disaster.

Rhubarb Meringue Squares
This recipe is very similar to a rhubarb square recipe my nan makes, so I was really excited to try it. It turned out great! It is time consuming, but if you like rhubarb it's a nice way to use it up.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies
Yum! Kept a great shape, (I hate cookies that flatten out). Followed the recipe exactly except used margarine instead of butter. Still turned out moist and chewy. Definitely a keeper! Thanks Joan :)
