Fish Chowder

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2014
Made as directed but left out the mushrooms. Very good. Seems like it needs more seasoning next time. I can understand why others added bacon.

Chicken Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2010
very good. I did put in an entire shredded chicken, not the two cups it called for.

French Toast II

Only made 8 slices. I followed the recipe to the word. It seemed over spiced.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
Very tasty. I've made this twice the first time the sauce turned out a little clumpy. The second time, it was perfect and very tasty. So easy I can't help but love it.

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
Aside from it not being very clammy tasting it's fantastic. I did not want an overwhelming clam taste but I was really surprised you could barely taste clam and I used an extra can of chopped clams. I also added bacon like the reviews suggested and used fat free half an half by my own choice to lighten it up. Same creamy taste, tons less fat. Awesome recipe. A total keeper!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2009
Very very good, especially for a doctored cake mix. Got rave reviews. Very moist. I was not expecting such good results even though there is a 5 star rating. I was pleasantly surprised!! (Used Satiny Chocolate glaze to top, doubled that recipe)

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2009
I typically double this in order to make my cakes extra chocolaty. Used with "To much Chocolate Cake" and the results brought rave reviews.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: May 30, 2009
I love love love this recipe and make it at least once every 2 weeks. I cook it for 20 min at 400* then knock down the temp to 325* for an hour and a half. I make this seasoning and bulk and recently discovered it's excellent in ground turkey for turkey burgers!

Cheesecake Topped Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
I made this as directed with only 2 changes.First because I read multiple posts about uncooked brownie batter, I parbaked my brownie layer for 6 minutes before adding the cheesecake layer. It came out perfect. Then in an attempt to avoid layer that I had read about, I ran a knife through to marble it a little bit. That really didn't matter, the layers still separated some. My dessert was chilled from 10am to 8pm so I don't think tempeture made a difference like others had speculated. All in all, very tasty. I would make this again. I did frost them with Dunkin Heinz Triple Chocolate chip frosting and they were very decadent.

I substituted fat free sour cream but otherwise made the recipe as instructed. It really is the best coffee cake I've ever had.

Megan's Granola

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
I've tried a lot of Granola recipes because we own a B&B. This is hands down the best recipe out there. It's addictive.
