Cajun Shrimp Orecchiette

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2008
FABULOUS recipe- one of my new favorites! I used I Can't Believe It's Not Butter lite and added more cajun, but this recipe is perfect how it is. Looks elegant and impressive, but really is sooo easy! Great job

Delicious Easy Chicken Francese

Reviewed: May 2, 2008
I've experimented with a lot of chicken/ lemon recipes and this is my favorite. I didn't have to change it at all! Well, I did have to multiply the recipe because I served it at a dinner party for 25 people. Yummy noises throughout- great recipe!

Deep Fried Jalapeno Slices

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2007
I had a hard time frying these, the breading seemed to fall off. The taste was very good, maybe I was doing something wrong?

Slovak Stuffed Cabbage

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2007
These stuffed cabbages are wonderful! Such a practical meal, too- they freeze well individually! I like to add a little more pepper and hot sauce to the tomatoes, but overall this is a terrific recipe!

Crostini

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2007
I make this a little differently now that I've experimented a little bit- I don't dip the bread into the mixture. I brush it on with a pastry brush and only to one side. I also just sprinkle the parmesan on, it seems easier. The flavor is great and the original recipe for the butter/ oil mix is perfect.

Vodka Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2006
LOVED this recipe! i didn't add the can of water, I like the sauce a little thicker. I did add some parmesan on the plate, and that was a great addition. I like it spicy, so 1/2 tsp pepper flakes was great, but if you're serving this for a crowd, maybe cut back the pepper flakes a little. Roma tomatoes do make a big difference. I didn't use fresh herbs, wonder how much better that would have been?? Terrific sauce, went awesome with penne. Mangia!

Cool Down Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2002
This recipe did not turn out too well for me. I was expecting a frozen fruit salad with a sugary glaze. Instead, I got banana mush that I had to throw away. THis recipe is more like a smoothie than a salad. I would try slicing the bananas, rather than mashing them. It just made a disgusting looking mess.

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2002
This was an awesome dish!!! I have recently been to three rib burn-off's and Suzanne's recipe was well worthy of competing! I did, however, add a little bit of garlic powder to the pork before cooking, and I added garlic to the sauce. (By the way, the sauce was PERFECT! No more will I buy BBQ sauce, this recipe blows Open Pitt and KC Masterpiece out of the water!)

Grandma's Hash Browns

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2001
This is a great recipe! I have been looking for a simple, traditional hash brown recipe! Mine have always turned out soggy and bland- no matter what seasonings I add. I tried this recipe and my breakfast dilemma-days are over!
