I used the traditional Buche de Noel cake recipe along with cocoa frosting/filling. I added peppermint extract to the cocoa for a great, holiday flavor. Adorning the cake are meringue mushrooms (I used the recipe from this site). We were thrilled with the appearance & flavor!
