Green Tomato Raspberry Jam

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2002
This is a great recipe. You can use Strawberry gelatin instead of Raspberry gelatin for a different taste, if you have a lot of green tomatoes left in the garden in the fall.

Brownie Mix in a Jar II

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2002
Great to give as a gift. When I was ready to bake these, it was really easy to mix and bake. A good idea for busy mom's to make the jars ahead of time and bake them up later when you are in a hurry.

Julia's Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies In A Jar

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2002
Easy to make. I made two jars first one for me and one for a gift, that way I could see how things layered in the wide mouth quart jar.

Slovak Stuffed Cabbage

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2003
When I made this, but did not add the pork (because I did not have the pork on hand) and it was absolutly delicious. My husband had never had Stuffed Cabbage (Pigs in the Blanket) with sauerkraut before, but he loved this recipe. You have converted him to my way of cooking, thanks.

Sauerkraut for Canning

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2003
My husband makes this recipe twice a year. This recipe is delicious. It makes great gifts. Our friends love it when we give them a jar. We seem to never have enough on hand. In Pennsylvania, using fall cabbage is best, but since we winter in Florida we make a recipe in the July, then again in October, before we go to Floida.

Cookie in a Jar

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2003
These are a very tasty and crisp cookie. I use a wide mouth quart jar, it makes it easier to get the ingredients out of the jar. I wrap a fancy piece of material, tie with a ribbon and attach the directions to the ribbon.

Osso Buco

I used a veal blade shoulder cut of meat in this recipe and this was very good. I understand this is an Italian recipe. My husband wanted it served over broad noodles and it was very tasty.

Chili I

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2004
My husband thought this recipe was great. It was tangy, but not hot. I will be making this again and again. It has a lot of ingredients, but well worth it. I could not find the Cumin seed so I used 1/2 tablespoon of ground Cumin.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

This fudge is really great. I used black walnuts for my husbands taste and also added two tablespoons of peanut butter when I added the chips. I kept it refrigerated. It is great for gift giving around the Holidays.

After the egg wash I sprinkled sesame seeds on the rolls. Instead of baking at 350 degrees f. I baked at 375 degrees f. for 13 minutes. They turned out great.
