Baked Brie with Mushrooms and Almonds

Reviewed: May 1, 2009
This was amazing and so easy. I did cut back on the butter and used fresh mushrooms, not sure why anyone would used canned. Can't wait to make it again it was a huge hit with our guests. Nice to know that it can be varied a bit with different brandy's and mushrooms etc., just for a change now and then.

Cocktail Meatballs II

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2010
This is awesome, works in slow cooker to heat up and keep warm. Can also use whole berry cranberry sauce, instead of grape jelly.

Mike's Mushroom Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2010
This was awesome, was a big hit, even reheated the next day. I did saute the mushrooms a bit first but that was the only change, other than putting in a baguette. Thanks for this keeper!

Grill Master Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2010
These are amazing, my husband had his doubts but was blown away. Note, don't use Franks Chicken wing sauce, like we did,it is 2 1/2 times saltier than regular Franks, which we didn't realize. But they were still amazing, a keeper for sure, as is. Thank you.

Pork Tenderloin with Mustard Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
Well, that was just amazingly wonderful. Hubby loved it. When I bought the tenderloin it turned out to be two pieces so after they marinaded (only for 5 hrs) I tied them together. That worked just fine. We took them out at 145 degrees and let them sit, they were perfect. The sauce was great though I admit I put a little less than 1 1/2 tbsp. So tender and flavourful. A keeper, thank you so much.

Chicken Wing Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
This was great. I used the blue cheese dressing as others had mentioned and shredded the chicken. Next time I won't shred it, just chop the chicken. Seemed to taste better when you got a chunk of chicken. The flavour was amazing. Will try it with Ranch dressing too, I am sure it will be wonderful too. Fast and easy.

Creamy Avocado-Ranch Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
This was a wonderful suprise. Awesome. Made as directed just added a bit more hot sauce and added a few finely chopped pickled hot peppers, not much. A great way to use up very ripe avacados. Thank you so much.

Bacon Water Chestnut Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2012
This is a wonderful recipe. The crunch of the water chestnuts really adds to the experience. I partially precook the bacon, cool them and then wrap the chestnuts so they only have to cook for 1/2 hr in the oven, limiting the mess. I put the sauce on right away. They can be prepped ahead of time sauce and all and then thrown in the oven last minute. Warning...these are addicting. They reheat well too.

Cheesy Thumbprint Appetizers with Hot Pepper Jelly

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2013
This is so easy and so good. I did add a bit of garlic powder as others suggested and I also added a wee bit of cayenne. I also used extra old cheddar cheese. They were gobbled up pretty quick. They will be perfect for Christmas with the green and red pepper jellies. Thank you!

Zesty Chicken Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2009
This was very tasty the first night, though we didn't like the consistency so would maybe try it with chopped up chicken instead. The ground chicken I used was very fine so that probably didn't help. The flavour though was excellent but didn't like it as a left over. Thought it might work well in manicotti. I also added chopped up onion.

Grilled Chicken with Rosemary and Bacon

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2011
This was really good, but unfortunately I didn't have good thick bacon so that flavour wasn't very strong, will do better next time, Costco maple bacon would be wonderful with it. Also next time I would use real garlic, minced. This recipe could be used as a base recipe too, onions, a bit of curry all kinds of options. Thanks for the recipe.

Baked Crumbled Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2012
This was so good. Followed it exactly except for the usual thing, didn't have fresh parsley so used freeze dried but other than that exactly. Next time I will crush the cornflakes a little more, a suggestion from my husband but that is the only change from the way I did it. Thanks so much!

Baked Ziti II

This was wonderful. Made it pretty much the way it was written other than adding a few garlic cloves. My husband loved it and said he didn't miss the meat at all. We had it warmed up the next day for lunch and it was just as good. Thank you!!

It was ok, my husband liked it better than I did. I am sure it could be customized very easily though. Will try it again with a few personal touches.
