Princess Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2014
Made exactly as written and can you say yum, I rolled some in sugar and some with the lemon glaze the submitter suggested. My child who doesn't like lemon, loved and I mean loved the ones rolled in sugar, my other daughter and I prefer the one with the glaze. 1 recipe, lots of happy people. So good with tea, a quick snack or on the go. Great recipe.

THis soup is fantastic just the way it is written, I used orange peppers because that is what I had, so it was pretty too. It is a great soup. I have made it tons of times, my celery lover prefers some celery, I do not, I have also done this with turkey sausage it turned out great

This turned out just like I remember, yum, The recipe I have always used is like Baked, exactly. I have also done what others have said and bake each week, by only starting with 1/4 cup mixes and additions. So perfect. I don't share starts, I bake them all, I give alot away, share baked goods with my kids at church

I only use cottage cheese, for all you die hard ricotta fans, I now use cottage cheese in my lasagna also. The small curd cottage cheese give a wonderfully smooth texture and a wonderful taste. Try it before making substitutions.

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
very good, I use all the broccoli, peel the stems to get rid of the hardstuff, I use it all, waste not want not is my motto. I also do not blend, I like clumps, sometimes I dice it up before I cook it other times I mash it, So good. I have also used a mix of cauliflower and broccoli. works like a charm. This is real comfort food.

Simple Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
This is the recipe my mom made for years while I was growing up in the dark ages. Exact recipe except we used cracker crumbs instead of bread crumbs. Thank you beyond words for my "lost recipe. Mom also sometimes did not brown first, just put in oven with sauce, I prefer brownin meat to eliminate the extra grease/oil. Thank you thank you. Yum, Yum

Fabulous with another reviewers change. I made the sugar and flour 2 1/4 cups, Perfect, rivals any good bakery. I have been asked to bring these to two different parties and the frosting is to die for. No changes there and it is good on carrot cake too.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
This is a wonderful recipe. I don't even like bananna bread and can't wait for this to come out of the oven. My fav way is toasted with butter. Thanks. I followed the recipe with no changes 5 times now, all perfect. It took about 10 minutes longer to finish baking. I didn't raise the temperature and I won't for the next batch either, I think that is what gives it the great texture.
