Baked Corn II

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
Flavorless and bland. My husband, who absolutely loves corn and would eat it everyday if he could, didn't even finish what was on his plate. I'll try to add more sugar and salt to see if that helps.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
I thought this recipe was great with a few changes and additions. I used about a cup of rice since it didn't seem like enough. I used a large can and a small can of tomato sauce and added a can of diced tomatoes as well. Added some mushrooms and garlic and extra seasonings. I didn't do anything to the pepper first just cooked them like the recipes says and they came out fine.

Strawberry Trifle

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
I make this every year and it's always a hit! I took this to a family get together last week and it was literally gone in minutes. Everyone wanted to know who made it. So simple to make and doesn't take much. If i have strawberries that aren't very sweet I'll soak them in some sugar in the fridge first. And I don't like cool whip, tastes funny to me, so I make whipped cream. Great recipe!!

Chocolate Crinkles II

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
I made this exactly as is for Christmas and everyone loved them! The only thing I did differently was I put the mix in the freezer for about 45 minutes instead of the fridge for 4 hours, much quicker. I'll be making these again, but maybe with a little extra sugar in the mix, just a tad bitter for a cookie for my taste. Thanks Ingrid.

No Bake Sugar Free Cheese Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2009
I made this for my Diabetic Uncle and he just raved about how good it was. I added a package of cheesecake pudding to the mix and I used peach flavored jello instead of lemon and it was very tasty. This cheesecake only lasted one night!!

Gelatin Poke Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2009
I remember eating these as a kid, my mom would make these for cook-outs and family gatherings. So when I came across the recipe I decided to make one. I used the strawberry jello and it was very good. My whole family enjoyed it. I even made a sugar-free version for my diabetic Uncle and he loved it!!

Sugar-Free Frosting

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2009
I was looking for a sugar-free frosting for my Uncle that's a diabetic. I made a sugar-free jello poke cake that calls for cool whip on top, but that sounded kinda boring so I used this frosting on it. My uncle loved it. I also made a regular version of the cake for the rest of the family and decided to use this frosting on that cake also...everyone loved it and nobody knew it was sugar-free!! I'm huge on sweets and I can't wait to have another piece of the cake so I can lick the frosting off the fork. Thanks for the recipe Chelsey!!!

Peanut Butter Easter Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
I made these for my family for easter. They were so good...everybody loved them. I didn't change a thing about the recipe. While I was mixing it it was very crumbly and I didn't think it was gonna come together, but it did. I didn't quite master the "egg" shape very well, so they didn't look the best, but they tasted much better than they looked! I doubled this recipe and used semi-sweet chocolate on half of the eggs and milk chocolate on the other half, It made about 35 eggs. My boyfriend couldn't even wait for the chocolate to finish hardening before he had to eat one :) thanks for the recipe!!
