Cuban Midnight Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2012
Very yummy! I made them pretty much as stated but I used ciabatta bread instead of hoagies and heated the sandwiches in the oven instead of on the stove.

Indian Chicken Curry II

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2012
This was good! I did make changes though. I doubled the recipe so I added two whole cans of lite coconut milk, one whole vanilla yogurt, and a small can of tomato sauce instead of the paste. Also I only used a dash of cinnamon because I was afraid it would over power the dish. I added some potatoes, spinach, and carrots and left out the lemon juice, and cayenne. This curry chicken turned out really well!

Green Grape Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2012
Very good! I used green and red grapes for more color. Also I made it a little bit healthier by using fat free cream cheese, reduced fat sour cream, Splenda, and skipping the brown sugar. It was so good the way I made it, though I can just imagine how delicious this recipe would be as written! I plan on making it again very soon!

Very good quick pasta dish! I doubled the sauce by using two jars of Alfredo and about half a little jar of pesto sauce. It was very yummy! My family all enjoyed it! :)

Very good! I did make more sauce like others have stated, just to make sure it wasn't dry. It turned out really tasty and the whole family loved it!

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2012
This came out really well! I made the dressing as is except I only used half the sugar called for. Also I didn't measure the vegetables, I just chopped a bunch up and threw them in. This was a very yummy macaroni salad recipe. I plan on making it again!

Dump Cake IV

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2012
This was fantastic! The only changes I made were that I added some frozen cherries to the cherry pie filling, I used a 9x13 pan and baked it at 375 degrees. I definitely want to make this again!

Ground Chicken Gumbo

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2012
This was great! I did make a few changes according to what I had on hand. I used ground turkey instead of ground chicken, canned diced tomatoes instead of crushed and no okra. I also added a little more Cajun seasoning because I love it and left out the hot pepper sauce. I served this gumbo over buttered macaroni. My family really enjoyed this recipe and it was quick and easy. I would definitely make this again!

Crustless Cranberry Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2012
This turned out really well! I only made a few changes. I added a teaspoon of vanilla, a dash of cinnamon and exchanged pecans for the walnuts because that's what I had on hand. Delicious! I plan to make this again!

Teriyaki Onion Burgers

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2011
These burgers were very tasty! I made a few changes though. First I used two pounds of 93% lean ground beef. I put the beef in a big Ziploc bag with 1 cup of Teriyaki marinade, two teaspoons of minced garlic and some salt and pepper. Then I let the meat marinate over night. Before grilling them I added some bread crumbs to keep the burgers together and the french fried onions. I had no problems with the burgers falling apart on the grill. They came out wonderfully! They were perfect with grilled pineapple rings and mayo on the bun. These burgers were so good they didn't even need the cheese! :)

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
This was really yummy! I cooked the chicken in a skillet on the stove instead of using the grill. Also I did add all of the salt to the marinade but I didn't add any salt to the sauce. My family didn't think it was too salty we thought it was fine.

Korean Salad with Sesame Dressing

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2011
This salad dressing was wonderful! I just used a bagged salad mix instead of the red leaf lettuce and green onions. Also the only things I changed about the dressing were that I omitted the red pepper flakes because I didn't have any and added sesame seeds. It was very tasty!

Hoisin-Ginger Beef Skewers

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2011
This dish was delicious! I changed a few things. First I only used about five drops of Sriacha instead of a whole teaspoon as it would have been too hot for my little ones. Also I only used one pound of beef and I did not grill it. I just cooked the marinated beef in a skillet on the stove. I served it over brown rice and with a side salad called "Korean Salad with Sesame Dressing" from this site. Great meal!
