Southern-Style Crowder Peas

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
I love some Crowder peas. I would say the thyme is not necessary though, just let the taste of the peas come through, please

Makeover Fruit Pizza

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
I added a bit of milk to the crust, seeing all the comments about how crumbly it was. It worked pretty well, but I'll probably just go get some ready made sugar cookie dough next time. I also left the glaze off, and didn't seem to miss it, and using the ingredients I had on hand topped it with strawberries, bananas, pineapple and grapes. So . . . I didn't really follow the recipe at all, did I? But it was delicious! Next time will use blueberries, kiwi, oranges and raspberries, in addition to strawberries, bananas, pineapple and grapes for the "supreme" fruit pizza!

Gigantes (Greek Lima Beans)

I thought this was a really nice way to eat lima beans, but the wife was thoroughly unimpressed . . . repulsed even . . .

Almond-Crusted Tilapia

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
This fish recipe is excellent. My wife says it's the best fish she's ever had. Very flavorful with the almonds, cheese and lemon all together. I burnt it a little the first time. Heat the butter up really hot, then reduce stovetop heat to medium when you place the fish in the pan.
