Great recipe. I pretty much keep this recipe in my fridge as a staple snack now.

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2004
This was WONDERFUL! Served this at Superbowl last week and it got rave reviews. I threw a couple of chocolate covered espresso beans on top to garnish and it was beautiful. If you follow the directions carefully, it's fairly easy to make. Will definitely make again.

Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Cake I

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2004
I made all sorts of substitutions (used egg beaters, Splenda, reduced calorie margarine and fat free sour cream) and it was STILL wonderful. A tad spongy but the flavor was very good. Will definitely make again.

Butter Mochi Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2003
I took this to a Japanese themed supper club last night. While it was definitely easy to make, nobody (including myself) liked it. Several people told me that it was indeed pretty authentic... perhaps it was just too exotic for my Western tastes. :)

Chewy Chocolate Cookies I

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2003
These turned out wonderfully! Very soft and chocolatey. I made a few substitutions... I replaced one cup of sugar with one cup of Splenda. I used egg beaters instead of eggs and I omitted the chocolate chips altogether. My version is a little healthier and lower cal (about 70 cals per cookie) and very tasty! Will definitely make these again.

Four Egg Yellow Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2003
I was very disappointed with this cake. Like other reviewers mentioned, it came out tasting a lot like corn bread. It did not cook evenly. I tested it in several different places and they all came out clean but I later discovered that the middle of the cake wasn't done. I will not be making this again.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2003
These were a very big hit. I too ran out of the cinnamon-sugar mix and had to make more to finish the batch. Very chewy and they look great! Will definitely make again.

Spiced Yogurt Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2003
I made this for July 4th and it was a big hit. Very moist! I am an icing junkie and look for any excuse to ice anything, but this cake needed no icing at all. Didn't even last 24 hours in my house. I will definitely make this again. I also baked it in a bundt pan for about 60 minutes and it came out beautifully. Pretty presentatation.

White Chocolate, Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2003
I made these for my husband for our wedding anniversary. He absolutely loved them. I used three kinds of chocolate chips and they were a very big hit. He's been hinting that I should make them again. The dough does get rather thick so you need a little muscle to mix it. :)

Banana-Oatmeal Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2003
I made this for a road trip to Colorado and it was a wonderful snack for hiking. It's very moist with a great texture. You don't even know the oatmeal's in there. I also made it for my mom who rarely gets to eat banana bread because it always has nuts in it. :) Great recipe.

One of our favorites. I didn't realize how much I like spinach until we started having this. Quick and very easy.

Puffs

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2002
These are delicious! We made them for Superbowl and they were a hit! Another reviewed mentioned using the won ton wrappers to make "dessert" and we tried that too. A slice of banana and a couple of chocolate chips were tasty way to finish off our Superbowl feast. Thanks for the recipe and the tips.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2002
As strange as the dough looked, these did turn out looking and tasting like bakery quality cookies. My family was very impressed and enjoyed them very much. The cookies are big, thick and dense (not cakey at all!). I will make these again, but confess to missing the homemade-ness of my traditional recipe.

Southwestern Chicken Wraps

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2002
We liked these, but found them a little bland even though I used hot salsa. We added a little hot sauce just to spice it up a bit. Great recipe, especially if you have leftover chicken!
