Buffalo Chicken Phyllo Wraps

These were yummy! I read over the "marinate your chicken in hot sauce" part and it was still good! I added chopped green onions and garlic, and used regular cream cheese. I also folded them more like spanikopitas. Great as an appetizer.

Vegetarian Korma

I used coconut milk in place of the cream as other users suggested and this was awesome! Next time I will add a lot more curry powder as it wasn't very hot to me. I put the potatos and carrots in with the onion to get a head start on cooking, and also sliced them pretty thin to help cut back on cooking time. Delicious vegetarian recipe!

Banana Trifle

I really wanted banana pudding for Thanksgiving desset this year, and this was exactly what I was looking for! The homemade whippped cream really makes this special, everyone loved it! Super easy, delicious and fun!

Beefy Baked Ravioli

This is such a simple throw together meal! I never thought to bake my frozen ravioli, and I don't think I will ever just boil them again! I used spicy italian sausage instead of ground beef, and also added some sauteed mushrooms. Will definetly be keeping this on stand by for those nights I don't feel like cooking much. Thanks!

Salisbury Steak

I read a lot of mixed reviews for this recipe, but decided to take the plunge and try it for myself, and I am glad that I did! These were soooo yummy! I doubled the sauce to have gravy for our mashed potatos, and added mushrooms to the pan while the patties were simmering. They turned out so juicy and moist, the sauce was delicious! Maybe a little bit on the salty side, but hey, it's condensed soup. We had some unexpected dinner guests over and everyone raved about this dish! Thanks for the awesome recipe!

Scrumptious Frosted Fudgy Brownies

TEN STARS!! BEST brownie's I have EVER had, let alone made! I had to share them with my family for fear of making myself sick from a chocolate overdose. I seriously could have ate the whole pan. Thanks Celeste! My search for the perfect brownie is OVER!

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

These lemon bars were okay. Nothing too spectacular. I followed the recipe exact. I had a huge issue with my crust sticking, I did use butter to grease the pan so maybe that was my problem? Also didn't feel like they were "lemony" enough. I used 4 fresh lemons which gave me just over 1/4 cup, plus the zest from one of the lemons. I will probably try to make these again, but will increase the lemon juice, and add an extra egg yolk.

Cindy's Awesome Clam Chowder

This chowder definitely lives up to it's name! It is not too milky, or too clammy, it's just right! Very hearty and easy soup to make. I used chicken broth in place of water to cover my potatoes, may try using extra clam juice next time. I also added in an onion with the potato and carrot, just because I had one and I felt like it should be in there . I did only use one package of the leek soup mix merely because I am a dork and only grabbed one at the store. I think one did the soup just fine though : ) Served it up in some sourdough breadbowls (wish I could have made those too!) and it was to die for! My man couldn't stop saying how good it was, best we've ever had. Thanks for the awesome recipe Cindy!

Byrdhouse Mushroom Barley Pilaf

GREAT recipe! I used half chicken half beef broth, baby bella shrooms, and omitted parsley simply because I had none. I also do not own a dutch oven, so I made it all on the stovetop. It took a little over an hour on medium-low heat for all the liquid to absorb for me. What an AMAZING depth of flavor! This dish left me feeling very full and satisfied, we will definitely be making this one again! Thanks for the awesome recipe Sunnybyrd! Who knew barley could be so good without soup!

Fierro Chicken

This was awesome! I didn't have enchilada sauce on hand, so I combined taco sauce with some leftover tomato sauce and a splash or 2 of tapatio to sub. I browned my chickn breast withh S&P to seal in the juices before topping with the sauce mixture, I also cooked the mushrooms in a little wine to draw out some of the liquid before topping the chicken with them, and of course the cheese! Once this came out of the oven I garnished with some cilantro. Excellent sauce, great new recipe for chicken, goes great with mexican rice. Thanks for the recipe!

Pumpkin Brownies

These were just ok. I am no baking expert, but I think 2 eggs would have made them more "fudge like" and thus more of a brownie in my mind. They seemed much more of a cake than a brownie. That being said, maybe a nice cream cheese frosting would have helped, or just one less egg. I also thought the walnuts seemed a little out of place, wish I would have saved them for choco chip cookies. Sorry, I don't think I will try this again : /

Steakhouse Black Bread

This bread is absolutely AMAZING! Didn't change a thing with the recipe. I did divide into just 4 small loaves, and baked for 25 minutes. They were absolutely fabulous! Tasted very similar to "Black Angus" restaurant bread. It was very moist,great flavor, fresh and SO GOOD! A keeper for sure !

WOW! I am so relieved that this was really an EASY recipe! It is so amazingly delicious, hot and fresh right from the oven. Crusty on the outside, fresh and chewy on the inside! House smells amazing, didn't change a thing, thanks for a keeper!

Frank's® Red Hot® Buffalo Chicken Dip

This dip was ok. I think my expectations may have been a little high. Both the man at home and myself are HUGE blue cheese fans, and we love hot wings, for some reason this dip just didn't excite too much. It was a little on the greasy side as well. I probably won't make it again.

Italian Green Beans

I want to start off by saying that green beans are not my favorite. I have been looking for a recipe that just really makes me say WOW that's a GOOD green bean. This recipe didn't do that for me. However, with that being said, if you LIKE green beans, I think this is a great idea : )

Panzanella Salad

I followed the recipe, omitted olives because the man at home doens't care for them. I thought it was kind of bland...so I added some crumbled bacon and a splash of rice wine vinegar. My changes improved it, but I do not think I will make this again.

Shredded Beef Chimichangas

I feel bad even reviewing this because I pretty much changed everything. BUT the idea of a non fried shredded beef chimi was great! I pressure cooked my meat with jalapenos, poblanos, onion, garlic, beef broth, a little canola oil and red wine. I also added very small diced potatos after the meat was cooked. Instead of baking these, I just pan fried them in a little butter like you would a quesidilla. Thanks for the inspiration, great recipe, will make again and again.
