Husband doesn't leave any leftovers when I make this. Be careful what type of biscuits you use, though, because some will make the crust too sweet. I'm still experimenting to find just the right type of biscuits for us. Overall, great concept & recipe, though!

Wisconsin Five-Cheese Bake

Yummy! It's a little dry, but I like the chewiness of the cheese. Next time I will probably add a little more cream than the recipe states. The Italian seasoning give it an interesting taste. Will definitely make again.

Shannon's Smoky Macaroni and Cheese

Mine came out a little grainy. I guess I didn't do something right with the sauce. Overall it was good, but not great. Too much cayenne for my taste. I would reduce it by half next time. But it was definitely a nice creamy mac & cheese - not dry at all. After I made it I topped it with a little crumbled bacon to try to add some texture, and that was good. Will probably try it again with the bacon cooked into it.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

This was a very easy recipe to put together, and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best either. 1 cup is way too much bread crumb. I'll cut that in half if I make this again. It was very creamy and not too heavy, but it seemed like there was something missing. If I make it again, I will definitely play with the recipe and try adding different things to it to jazz it up. A little blah for my taste.

Smoky Four Cheese Macaroni Bake

Very good! I left out the liquid smoke (didn't have any) and added 1 cup each chopped ham and frozen peas to make it a meal. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly. I was afraid it was going to be too thick and dry when I saw how thick the bechemel was and how goopy it became when I added all the cheese. But once it baked off, it was creamy and delicious. Also, I used freshly grated Parmesan, not the Kraft powder stuff. I will continue to use fresh-grated in the sauce, but I think in the future I'll use the powder with the bread crumbs for the topping.

Bacon for the Family or a Crowd

I will use this method from now on! I read the other reviews first, and I did bump the temp up to 400 as suggested by some. My thick bacon turned out perfect. I set the timer for 10 minutes, turned it, and then put it back in for another 10 minutes. Excellent!

Coconut Cake III

I made exactly as directed, except I used 2 round cake pans instead of the 9x13, and my family RAVED about this cake. My mom is making it for a potluck this week. This cake is definitely sticky-sweet and for coconut lovers only, but that describes my whole family, so it was a hit!

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

This recipe is fantastic. My mom hates eggs and egg-based dishes, and even she likes this. Instead of mustard powder, though, I use a little rubbed sage, maybe 1/8 tsp.

Jimmy Dean Sausage Treasures

These are the yummiest treats I have ever made! They are very time-consuming to make (probably because I always do a double batch), but they are soooo worth it! I have used sage sausage in place of the regular from time to time and it is really good too. Gives a slightly different flavor. My husband scarfs these up as fast as I can finish frying them.

Hash Brown and Pork Chop Casserole

EZ Meatloaf

I never liked meatloaf before I tried this recipe. This is the BEST meatloaf. Not only is it easy, but it tastes great...very juicy. I substitute equal parts ketchup & brown sugar for my topping, though, instead of pasta sauce.
