Slow Cooker Texas Smoked Beef Brisket
Extremely easy recipe. It was very good. I used a 2.85 Lb brisket, but there was enough rub in the origial recipe to cover it. I upped the onion to a whole one, because we like cooked onion. And i put it under the brisket, instead of on top. However, I don't think I'm a cumin person. So next time, I'll either reduce, or remove it from the rub.

Sara's Beef Jerky
I liked parts of this recipe, but I changed it up a bit. firsty, I like to trim and cut the sirloin myself. So I put it in the freezer for about 45 minutes, then trimed the fat and cut it into 1/4" thick strips. Then I use a meat tenderizer to pound it to about 1/8" thick. The main reason I switched from store bought was to avoid harmful things, like Nitrates. I also course ground some pepper over the racks, before putting in the oven. And I set the oven to about 160 degrees F. Overall, I liked it.

Crab Legs with Garlic Butter Sauce
This was great! I came home from the market and needed a recipe. Four came up for crab legs, this one required 1 Lb. of Snow Crab clusters. What I came home with was 1 Lb. of Snow Crab clusters! I had everything except the clove of garlic, which I subbed with garlic powder. We thought they came out great! It was an easy recipe that tasted wonderful. I did up the butter a bit, and threw in some lemon juice toward the end, but other than that I followed the instructions as close as I could. Next time I cook crab legs I'm using this recipe!
