Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2014
These are perfect! This would be what cinabon would taste like if homemade. It doesn't have that sorta processed flavor. It's really good. I did reduce the sugar, I used about 2/3 the suggested amount and added about 1-2teaspoon of cornstarch to the sugar/cinnamon mix. This prevented the filling from seeping out. Will definitely make these again and again.

Pull-Apart Hot Cross Buns

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2010
This turned out wonderful!! I made a few changes but overall the recipe stayed the same. I made an egg wash with 1 egg yolk and 1 tbsp of cream and brushed the buns just before placing in the oven. I didn't have cardamom so I used nutmeg and cinnamon. Also I would suggest making half of the icing for the crosses cause it was way too much. I also made a syrup of 2 tbsp sugar and 1/3 cup water and a tsp of vanilla extract to brush on the buns as soon as I took them out of the oven. Also, 12 buns couldn't fit in a 13x9 pan, so I placed 8 buns in the pan and the other 4 in a 8 inch cake dish. These buns are soft and delicious and very yummy..it is a great recipe!! My husband has had quite a few and I ate 2 as soon as it came out of the oven. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
I made this chicken for xmas and it was sooo juicy and great!! Very tasty. I did alter the seasoning but what I believe made all the difference was the butter. This chicken was no ordinary baked chicken, it was tender, juicy and got lots of ooow and ahhhs. I will be making this again, but only for Holidays :-) because of all that darn butter!

Roast Leg of Lamb with Rosemary

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
I tried this recipe for Christmas dinner and it was absolutely tasty!! I used the 1 tbsp balsamic and lemon juice as suggested and I let it season for 2 days, the result was a flavorful, tasty and very mellow lamb. I will be making this again.

Easiest Focaccia Recipe

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
This was easy to make and delicious. I topped mine with thyme and it was very flavorful. However I do wish this recipe had included the exact amount of water to use, I bake so I was familiar with the consistency of bread but some one who doesn't would have trouble following this recipe.
