Key Lime Pie VIII

This pie was soooo good! I used a graham cracker crust, and it did not get soggy, of course the pie only lasted two days. I used just regular ole limes from the store. Our store don't carry Key Limes, and do we really want to put anything in our mouth's that come out of South Florida, anyway?? I did not want a recipe that had raw eggs, and this one was perfect! Thanks Charlotte for sharing this one with us.

Cranberry Muffins

These muffins were great. I used half brown sugar and half white just because I like brown sugar in everything. I made 6 giant muffins and cooked them about 40 min. I may try them without the ginger next time. Love em!

Orange Juice Muffins with Honey Spread

These muffins are great!! They are so quick and easy, and ohhh , sooo good. I think I really like them better plain, without the sugar/cinnamon mixture and the honey butter spread, but they are delicious both ways. Sure made a big hit with my husband... Thanks Debbie

Banana Cake VI

This cake was really good. My husband thought it was great, but he thinks all baked goods are great. I used two cups of bananas because that was how many I had, but you have to bake it about 10-15 minutes longer when doing this. I did not put it in the freezer, because my freezer isn't big enough, but it was very moist anyway. I also put pecans in the icing. EXCELLENT!!!

Frozen Cranberry Salad

This was very rich and delicious. I used pecans instead of walnuts. Next time, I may try using coolwhip in place of the whipped cream in order to lighten it up a bit. That way I can eat more.... Try this one...

Quick Black Forest Cake

This cake was quick, easy, and ohhhh, so good. I used a german chocolate mix because that was all I had. I also used milk chocolate chips because that was all I had. I added some chopped almonds to the icing. I loved this recipe, thanks Donna.

Apple Enchiladas

These were absolutely delicious!! I had enough filling to do nine tortillas, maybe mine were smaller than 8 in., but they were simply wonderful even with no ice cream, just hot out of the oven. They reminded me of apple dumplings. I will use this recipe a lot, they are so fast and simple to do. Many thanks to Brenda!!

Texas Brazil Nut Fruitcake

I loved this cake! All those nuts is what made this sooo good, but it did take a long time to chop them all up by hand, and a long time to bake. I added some spices to mine. My grand kids didn't think much of it, but what do they know??It is a great holiday cake, and keeps forever in the ice box.

Peach Cobbler II

Brown Sugar-Pear Tart

I am always glad to get recipes using fresh pears, as I have an abundant of them this time of year. This was very good, especially the crust. I dotted the top of mine with butter because I thought that topping needed some help. It appeared very dry. Maybe next time I will cut some butter in with the topping mix. I also had to cook it about 40 minutes, and the pears were still a little bit crisp, but it was delicious. I will use this recipe again and again. Thanks for sharing it.

Apple Enchilada Dessert

These are sooo good. I double the sauce and use a little more cinnamon to make these even more delicious. Everyone in the family, inclucing the kids loved these. They disappear quickly, so make a double batch for a large family. Apple is our favorite. Thanks for this quick and easy recipe.

Apple Dumplings I

These were very good. I used cinnamon rolls, and they were really good. I would have liked a bit more crust. Maybe next time I will use two rolls instead of one. Or maybe my apple slices were too big. So quick and easy to do too.

Cinnamon Chip Filled Crescents

These were absolutely delicious!! I didn't even use the glaze on top, and they were plenty good without it. Next time, though, I might try mixing in some chopped pecans along with the cinnamon chips. So quick and easy, that's the part I like most. Thanks for the recipe..

Banana Sour Cream Bread

I also cut the sugar to two cups. Three just sounded too sweet, and it turned out just right for us. This was very good, but more of a cake than a bread. I used a 9x13 pan and baked for an hour. Worth trying for sure....
