This recipe was a good start. I rubbed my pork loin with garlic powder, ginger and onion powder. Browned it in a pan and then added it to the slow cooker which had chopped onions, fresh garlic, TONS of ginger, a can of mandarin oranges (with juice), 1cup of teryaki sauce, soy sauce and a couple pinches of red pepper flakes. After 6 hours, I pulled the meat apart and added 2 tablespoons of flour that I had mixed with water so not to be adding lumps. It is REALLY good! Remember to add a lot more spices when cooking in a slow cooker...
