Chris' Bay Area Burger

I thought is was just okay. The basting of teriyaki and ranch ensured a moist chicken, but it was an odd blend of flavor. Maybe it's just the Texan in me, but I thought this would be better with a salsa type basting combined with the chedar cheese and onions.

Garlic Shrimp Linguine

My husband made this for me and he is very much a novice cook. It was absolutely delicious. Light yet packed with flavor. I highly recommend this for cooks of all levels.

Tuna Noodle Casserole II

I'd give this only 4 out 5 stars because it had a few modifications. I used wide egg noodles and boiled only 6 minutes from other recommendations. I added celery salt as a seasoning. Also, rather than American cheese, I used approx 1 cup of colby jack cheese; 1/2 cup in between noodle layers and another 1/2 cup on the top underneath a layer of bread crumbs. (I would have used chips if I had any, that sounds yummy!) Overall, it turned out delicious and is the perfect comfort food. I highly recommend!

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

A great quick, easy and yummy recipe that smells delicious while cooking. This can be easily be modified with any additional spices. I used the aluminum foil lined pan with no spray and didn't have any issues with it sticking. Just as quick to clean up! The family loved it. Will make it again.

Tangy Pear and Blue Cheese Salad

Delicious. I melted butter in a pan, added halved pecans, sprinkled sugar in the pan and mixed around until the pecans were glazed. Added those to the salad versus the walnuts and gave it a perfect sweet/tart mix. Yum!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

I give it 5 stars because I doubled the recipe and every single stuffed mushroom was devoured at a cocktail party. I personally thought they were a bit bland, even after adding minced chives, but everyone loved them. Great for an appetizer. Next time I think I'll add some bacon bits and top with cheddar cheese to see if it adds some pop. Agreed with other reviewers, had plenty of left over "stuffing" so will have to find something interesting to do with the extras...maybe a dip with crackers?
