Spinach Bacon Quiche

Oh so good! I also decided to use only 1 cup of milk and add an extra egg. In addition, I had some extra tato puffs (tater tots) from another meal and tossed those into the mix. This was delicious; gourmet restaurant style quiche and it even looked like it came right out of a magazine! Mangia Mangia!!

Pleasing Cheese Potatoes

I had to modify the recipe a bit because I didn't have everything the recipe called for but it was still delicious. My husband asked for it to be a staple!!! I used half a bag of tots, only 1 can of cream of MUSHROOM, and no green pepper. It was DELICIOUS and I WILL make it again and again. Yummmmmm.

Pasta Salad with Homemade Dressing

Pretty wonderful! I used mozzarella (fresh) instead of provolone as a personal choice but I left everything else the same. I felt like this was missing something. I tried adding more salt and garlic powder but that wasn't it. It needs something but other than that, pretty good. Unfortunately, I took it to the party and came home with a ton so I'll have plenty of time to figure it out. Good or bad thing? I'm not sure yet.

Potato and Bacon Salad

Amazingly delicious! I made a few changes: Extra bacon (of course! - yum), split the mayo to half mayo, half sour cream for a lighter, creamier texture, no celery (personal preference, and added half an onion. Yum. Yum. Yum. As soon as my husband tasted it he said "you might want to get going on another batch" lol

Grandma's Brisket

Based on the ratings I took a chance and made this for a holiday gathering without testing it first. It was amazing. I was surprised considering my grandmother's recipe takes days and several steps; not to mention at least twenty ingredients. The carrots were caramelized and sweet, the onions were brown and juicy. My guests raved about it for days. I will be making this again.

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

This is pretty darn good. I used extra dijon cause I like things moist and spicy. I also used someone's advice and melted the butter and Panko (Oh yah, I used Panko instead of bread crumbs) to top the salmon instead of drizzling the butter later. Since I don't measure I'm pretty sure I used extra topping. All in all - DELICIOUS!

Simple Feta Cheese Salad

Good mix but I too found it a little bland. I used regular tomatoes (that might have been part of it) so I added salt (about a TBSP or two) and Garlic Powder. Much better.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

I didn't feel like cutting up the breasts (okay okay, they were frozen and I was late for work) so I tossed them in. It worked just fine (I shredded the chicken when I got home before I added the cream cheese) and found it to be DELICIOUS. An easy fix if you haven't thawed your chicken.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

The best pot roast I've had - EVAH!!! So good. I first coated it in flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder and fried it in olive oil. I also boiled some carrots, potatoes and celery and served the gravy over it. DELISH!!! Will be making this again and again. Thank you!!!

Red Skinned Potato Salad

The salad was really really good but there was way too much mayo in the salad (I thought). Unfortunately, there wasn't anything I could do after it was all mixed because it was too late to boil more potatoes. I will make it again, just using less mayo.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

I thought they were just okay but my husband said they were delicious. I expected the cookie center to be moist and taste like cookie dough from the ice cream. Instead I thought it was a little dry and flavorless. Oh well, the hubs liked them so I made a dozen more and sent them to his office!

Banana Muffins II

Pretty darn good. I added some cinnamon and vanilla and I only had 2 bananas left. I too thought the batter was a little dry and added a bit of vegetable oil to moisten things up a bit. I think the muffins were delicious and very easy to make. I will definitely be making these again. An easy and yummy breakfast.
