Black Pepper Cookies

Really good cookies. I coudn't taste the pepper in them, but alot of people could. I added a little bit of chocolate chips and not as many raisans as it called for because I was bringing it to a bbq with kids, but they went very quick.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

I made this last night and it was amazing! I put bread crumbs on the bottom of the pan, and the chicken came out very crispy, not soggy at all as some breaded dishes do. I used fresh oregano and parsley and the flavors came out very well, I dont think the dried would've given it such nice flavor as the fresh. It was cooked perfectly after the 30 minutes

Grilled Blue Cheese Pears

These were so good. Not too overpowered from the cheese and they had that extra bite from the hot sauce. I just cooked mine slowly on the BBQ with the lid down and they were cooked perfectly after 15 minutes.

Baby Greens with a Warm Gorgonzola Dressing

I have made this salad dressing twice now and I thought it was unbelievable. My mom wanted the recipe, so when she made this salad one night I had no idea it was the same one. I realized that I had never put the olive oil in my salad dressing and believe me, SO MUCH BETTER! It is like a pinkish colour and so flavourful and not oily at all. Delicious with the olive oil but even more delicious...without the olive oil.

Best Spinach Dip Ever

This spinach dip was amazing. I made it for a going away party and it was the most popular dish there. There was no sourdough bread at the store, so I used french bread and just cut it into chunks. One loave was not enough, after the bread was gone people at the pary were dipping crackers and chips into it. The bowl was licked clean after. I will never try another recipe for spinach dip, this is the winner. I am going to go make it again right now.

Seafood Stuffed Avocados

Just like I've had in Mexico. Delicious! Definitely don't waste the avocado. I stuffed the avocados with the rest of the avocado and didn't have any crab so just used shrimp, but it would probably be even better with crab.

Butternut Squash with Onions and Pecans

Yum, definitely needs some brown sugar. Also, should be mashed and then add the toasted pecans. The textures are a lot better that way.

Rosemary Chicken Couscous Salad

Really delicious. I only used about 3/4 of the salad dressing and there could be less olive oil, and I didn't use white balsamic. I added dried cranberries as well as the sun dried tomatoes because it definitely needed some colour, however next time I make it I will use the cranberries and omit the sun dried. I will also like to add some artichokes next time. Yummy!

Red, White and Blue Burgers

This were so good. These can be just eaten by themselves and they are so moist and delicious. Do not put sauce on them, they do not need it. Only thing I changed was a couple splashes of worchestire sauce in the mix.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

The marinate was unbelievable! My bf cooked them perfectly on the grill so that helped too, but it was such a nice honey mustard flavor. On the side I made extra marinate and added a dash of red wine vinegar and a dash of olive oil to make a salad dressing. Than put it on top a spinach, red pepper, soya bean and roasted chick pea salad. And I don't know what I loved more, the chicken or the salad. The salad dressing was out of this world good.
