This was delicious! I used brown rice instead and bottled lemon juice. It was a lot of work and made alot of servings but was worth it because I snacked on them all week. I had some serious trouble rolling the grape leaves but by the last few I rolled they were shaped a little better just need some practice I guess. Great recipe I've always loved these rare treats at greek restuarants and now I can make them myself. Thanks!

Cream of Mushroom Soup II

Reviewed: May 21, 2009
It's so nice to find a vegetarian version of this soup. I didn't use thyme and followed the suggestions to use more flour however went overboard and used too much. Either way this was delicious. Hearty, flavorful and really easy to make! I also used the stalks and extra mushrooms. I think 3 cloves of garlic was a little much for me but would be good for huge garlic lovers.

Pumpkin Fritters

These were amazing. Even my family who despise curry loved them. I used half cup flour like others said and they were devoured. Yum thank you! So easy and quick too.

Vegetarian Gravy

Delicious! I didn't have the nutritional yeast but the soy sauce and veggie broth make a yummy flavor very similar to meat gravy. Even the meat eaters loved it

Baked Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
This was very bland. I tried adding salt and pepper, and even a little cheese towards the end but it just didn't seem finished. I also didn't like the onion in there. It was okay but I don't think I'll make again.

Delicious Rosemary Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2011
This was the first time I ever made bread. I was shocked at how easy it was and how good this bread turned out! So much flavor. 3 cups was way too much flour, most of the third cup wouldn't stick to the dough. I also had issues with the dough rising enough, but it was really humid here so I'm not surprised it turned out dense. Overall a great recipe I plan to make again and again!

Seared Sea Scallops

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2014
This recipe is so simple and quick but so delicious! The mix of spices with the lemon juice creates amazing flavor. I added garlic because I love garlic in everything. The scallops cook best if they're not dry before the flour.
