Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2012
My whole family loves this soup. One time when I didn't have enough ham, I added some diced, crisply cooked bacon. That was a huge winner. My only other comment is the soup was not as thick as we wanted it - but I just added more roux. Oh, I added carrots as well.

Deviled Eggs

Just made these today and they are so simple, but so good! I used a little honey mustard with the regular and they turned out perfect. I tend to put too many things in and often less is more!!

Arkansas Green Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
This has been a hit wherever I've taken it. I really cut down on the sugar..maybe even half as much. I diced the bacon then cooked it in the micro. I cooked it as a holiday dish using 5 cans of green beans and increased the rest accordingly. Thanks for the recipe.

Southern Fried Green Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
Wow! Even my kids who won't touch green beans loved this. I had to make more the next day. I cut down on the sugar, but the dish was still great.

Halibut Weaver

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2009
I have made this for years since, here in Alaska, we catch plenty of halibut. For a moist, tender dish, I cook it in the microwave with no topping for half the time, then drain any juices, add the topping and finish. This only takes a few minutes and should NOT be overcooked. It is my husband's favorite. It's also great spread with tartar sauce instead of the mayo mix. You can hardly go wrong!

Cheddary Artichoke Snacks

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
I'm surprised - I love all of these ingredients. I thought they were a little bland. I made them exactly as written. I think I'll add garlic salt next time.
