Pork Chops a la Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
First time I made this it was tasty but kinda dry. I think this is because my crockpot is so large the soup didn't cover the chops. Second time I used two cans to ensure coverage and cooked the entire time. Delicious. Meet was falling apart. Second time I also put chops in ziplock bag, easier to coat.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2014
Made this last night and it turned out delicious. Only used 5 thighs so I imagine with 12 there would not be enough sauce. Cooked at 425 as stated in the recipe, uncovered and it turned out perfect. Didn't grease pan but soaked after and cleaned easy. Pyrex rocks.

Chicken Enchiladas V

I made this as written and it turned out delicious. Made second time using two cans of canned chicken and still turned out great. Heated tortillas first as someone suggested and made wrapping much easier.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2014
I made this recipe as stated and it turned out bad. Especially the frosting. I think instead of heavy whipping cream it should be whipped cream.

Easy Corn Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2014
This is a good recipe but after 30 minutes it was still liquid. I think the sour cream lengthens the cook time. I'll try it next time without the sour cream and see.

Cherry-Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
I have made this recipe twice. I used the pre-made pie crust from the freezer section and topped with the pie crust from the refrigerator section. The second time I used aluminum foil on the crust by cutting into strips. The foil stuck to the pie ugh. Next time I will use no stick foil.

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
I made the recipe as stated except I fluctuated between low and high broil so it took longer to bake. Taste like garlic bread. I would call it garlic bread chicken. Will definitely make again. Update, made again with 7 pieces of bone in chicken thighs, lots of sauce. Still delicious.

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2013
The first time I made these I followed the recipe exactly and was bitterly disappointed. The second time I followed another reviewers recipe and used these ingredients and it was fantastic. I also used a mixer and spread the batter with the back of the 1/4 measuring cup. " 1. Add 1 1/3 cups pumpkin 2. Add 1 Tbsp Cinnamon 3. Add 1/2 tsp nutmeg 4. Delete the allspice, vinegar and ginger Here are my ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour 3 tablespoons brown sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups milk 1 1/3 cups pumpkin puree 1 egg 2 tablespoons vegetable oil."

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2013
I though the meatloaf was great as written. Loved the sauce. First time made as written. Second time sautéed onions. Even better with sautéed onions. Third time sautéed onions and garlic in butter and added tablespoon Worchester sauce (based on other reviews) perfect.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2013
I have used this recipe several times, works with any cake mix and frosting. Used a whole package of almond bark to coat the balls after leaving them in the freezer overnight to harden. Added a teaspoon of olive oil to thin the chocolate. Made the balls by hand. Put flour on hands to keep the balls from sticking to my hand.
