Whole Wheat, Oatmeal, and Banana Pancakes
TRY THESE! Super hearty, filling, and taste and smell amazing (esp. w/ blueberries). These are a great way to sneak nutrition into pancakes. They freeze well (layered w/ parchment paper), and I've even used them in place of a sandwich in my kids' lunches (2 pancakes w/ honey in between). Since I have the blender out, I add in whole flax seeds with the rolled oats and blend, and I measure out double the dry ingredients & store 1/2 as a mix for next time. Omitted dry milk powder & have used 1 Tbsp. applesauce in place of 1 Tbsp. oil w/ no noticeable difference.
