I used heavy whipping cream and they all fell apart, but the soup is amazingly good. Better than before the dumpling mistake; tastes great! I will try this again. The flavor is great. I used fresh herbs and it was perfect.

I make it with Almonds and omit the blue cheese. The almonds make it excellent tasting; crunchy, sweet salty! Well loved by everyone I make it for. They are gone in minutes.

We really like these crab cakes. I make it with fresh crab right out the Pacific. For storing fresh crab: cook crab same day caught, clean and freeze the crab with in two days. If you can't freeze right away either clean it all out of the shell or clean the back and all insides out and rinse off the yellow. Pack in cooler bottom up with layers of ice. Drain off water from cooler to prevent crab from getting soft. Pack cleaned crab meat in zip-lock bags before putting on ice. Freeze crab, remove crab when frozen and vacuum pack it for better storage. De-thaw crab, rinse and put some fresh lemon juice on it. No one knows it isn't fresh. Fresh ocean crab will die in fresh water. If you need to keep them alive use ocean water.

I use frozen artichoke hearts, because they have a more solid texture. I have made this with all kids of cheeses, Mexican blend, Asiago and Parmesan. I have also used sour cream and mayo together. Don't be afraid to experiment with this recipe.

I needed a cold crab dip and this was just great cold. Everyone loved it and finished it at a party! I put a little sour cream in it and added some cayenne pepper. I rinse, dry and lemon juice my crab meat.

We like this recipe. I always rinse and dry my fish then put a little lemon on it before I make any recipe. My kids are picky about fish taste and this helps.
