Hello! I'm Ali G and I live in sunny Arizona. I love reading, writing, photography and definately cooking. I would say that I am adventurous in the kitchen and love cooking and inventing new things. Definately baking and lots of chicken recipes. My husband is not picky at all so he is definately the guinea pig when it comes to me in the kitchen. My mom and I love to cook together when we get the chance. When we are together, we love to make pies and cakes. Thanksgiving we make special pumpkin pies and pecan pies that are absolutely to die for!! For Valentines Day I made my husband a special "Dark Chocolate Guinness Ganache" cake. It was the first time I had made it and now it is my signature. Everybody loves it...especially my husband. = ) My first Thanksgiving married. I was in charge of making the gravy. I was on the phone with my mom (who lives in California) for two hours trying to walk me through how to make a roux to start the gravy. The butter kept getting too brown!! Once I got to my in-laws, they were surprised that I had made homemade gravy, the were expecting me to bring jarred. I chalk it up to "what doesn't kill us makes us stronger".
