Egg-free Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
Would have given these 5 stars but I did use different ingredients. Made these for my daughter who is egg, dairy, gluten, corn and soy intolerent. SHE LOVED THEM! Used gluten free flour but had to use the maragine because I didn't have anything else. I also followed the advice of others and cut the flour to 1 1/2 cups and added a few choc. chips. Will make again and again. It was so worth seeing her enjoy something she hasn't been able to eat in several years. Thank You

Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
Wonderful! Only thing I did different was use Colby/Jack cheese and shredded Parmesan cheese. Didn't have Cheddar or grated parm. Will certainly make these again. Next time I'm going to try without the egg. My opinion, it wasn't necessary. Thanks Jan.

Brownie Biscotti

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
First time making biscotti, very good! Next time I'm going to use just a bit less cocoa. Not a big chocolate eater. I did have trouble with it crumbling when cutting, but not real bad. Will certainly make again.

Tomato Macaroni Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
It was good but not outstanding. After simmering for a few minutes I tasted it and quickly decided it needed something more, so I added a little garlic powder. I'm not keen on the macaroni in there either so if I make it again I will not add the macaroni. Also added a little cornstarch to thicken it a bit. As someone else said it's a good starter base.

Wilted Lettuce Salad

This is delicious! I was paid the ultimate compliment by hubby, it is better than his mothers. That's saying something because she was a wonderful cook. Certainly a keeper.

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2010
Made this for dessert after supper and it tastes wonderful, but in the looks catagory it won't win any prizes. Most definately does Not look like picture. In fact, looking at it is really unappetizing. So very glad it taste better than it looks. Will make again and hopefully it will look a little better next time.

S.O.P.P.

Reviewed: May 22, 2009
This is great when mixed and put on the grill until the veggies are to your liking.Sometimes I cut everything up, sometimes I leave in larger pieces, either way it is wonderful. Guess what I'm having for dinner tonight?
