All American Roast Beef
Excellent results. I have seared my roast 1st and also just put it in the hot oven. Either way it works very well. I mix the salt, pepper and garlic powder and then rub the roast. I have also crushed a clove of garlic and rubbed the roast b4 adding the salt and pepper.

Cowboy Casserole
This is very close to an old family favorite that came out of a newspaper during the depresssion. Make it a casserole by layering the bean/meat mixture, then a layer of sliced fresh apple, a sprinkle of brwn sugar, repeat twice more. biscuits on top. The title was "Meal in One" I grew up on this and mom use to add Kings syrup to sweeten it. Quite a treat.

Baked Penne with Italian Sausage
This was awsome and put into my rec book at home. It will become a regular on the menu. I used hot Ital sausage and added 2 cloves of minced garlic. Nxt time I will use twice the cheese and this dish deserves the best. I used store brand :-( as it was my first try, won't do that again, but still it was great. I also used t. paste with Italian seasoning in it.
