Wow, these came out really fluffy!! I forgot to put the vinegar in the milk but it still came out good. I will not be buying those boxed mixes again!! I'm so glad I found this recipe.

Super easy recipe! Tastes pretty good but it still seems like something is lacking.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2012
Came out nice and soft. Only problem I had was rolling them out.. It took a lot longer to roll them out than I thought. You have to roll them really thin because it will rise as it bakes. This is super easy and I'll definitely make this again!!

Old Fashioned Potato Salad

This is a good basic recipe. The only adjustment I made was more Mayo, other than that it was perfect. Definitely be making it again.

Firecracker Fried Chicken Drumsticks

Reviewed: May 18, 2010
Just had these for dinner and it came out okay. I used the Cholula hot sauce and marinated it for about 19 hours and it was not spicy. It could be the hot sauce, next time I will use Tabasco and hopefully it will come out spicy. I didn't have a problem with the flour falling off the chicken as did the other reviewers. The texture of it came out nice and crispy. I used a deep fryer set at 350 and had the chicken fried for about 15 minutes, and it came out golden and crispy. The first batch I made, I fried it for 20 minutes and It was a little overdone. I would suggest to fry it for 15 minutes then check it. Other than that it was good.

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2010
This is such an easy recipe! Rather than using a whole chicken, I used chicken thighs and drumsticks since I had them in the freezer. After reading some of the reviews, I ended up browning the chicken on the stove first. Then I placed the chicken in the cooker and left it there for about an hour on high and it came out nice an tender. Goes great with garlic mashed potatoes and any steamed veggies.

Joy's Prizewinning Trifle

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
MMmm, made this tonight and it was nice and easy. The only time consuming part was cutting the fruit-which wasn't that bad. The cream filling was a little on the sweet side as you continued eating it. I definitely be making this for the next potluck

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
This was okay and only okay. There was anything special about it, however, it was easy to make and it looked good. The color of the sauce came out nice but the flavor was lacking

Red Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
This is an easy basic recipe to have in your collection. I made it without the sugar and it was fine without it. I love the creaminess of the potatoes and the garlic flavor together. This is a nice side to any dish. Leftovers are awesome the next day too!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
Edit: I made this for an Easter party and got great reviews from everyone! The night before I boiled the pork on the stove for about 3 hours on med-high heat and shredded it that night. I also used some of the broth to keep the pork moist overnight in the fridge. The next morning, I put the pork and the bbq sauce in the crock pot and left it on high til it got warm and switched it to low when the guests arrived. It's such an easy dish that can feed lots of people and I love it because it stays warm in the crock pot. I love this recipe! So easy!! It really is effortless! I used pork butt and only had it on high for about 2 hours and it came out juicy and tender. After shredding it, I rinsed out the pot and put it all back in with the bbq sauce. This would be great for parties since its so easy..

Oven Fried Chicken II

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
It was not as crispy as I thought. I was a bit disappointed, but what can you expected-it's oven fried... The recipe itself is not bad, it's just not crispy. I'll probably try to make it next time, but fry it instead.

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II

Try using roasted chicken-it makes it tastier! I had left over chicken from the night before and chopped it up rather than using boiled chicken and it came out better than I expected.

Honey Walnut Shrimp

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
Very good!! Loved the way the shrimp came out when fried-light and crispy. Such an easy dish to make, very tasty too. Much better tastier the ones at the restaurants. I don't care too much for the walnuts, they didn't came out as crunchy as I expected but the dish is great without them. I'm so glad I found this recipe!! :)

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
Easy, easy, easy!!! Everything goes into one pan, which made clean up very easy-which I like. The chicken came out nice and crispy, however, the potatoes didn't come out as crispy as I like but was still good. I had to add some seasoned salt to it in the end because the there was little flavor in the potatoes. Other than that this is a very easy and good dish to make for dinner.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
This is a REALLY delicious and simple dish to make. I made it for dinner a few nights ago and the boyfriend LOVED it. Instead of simmering it on the stove, I baked it in the oven and it came out tender and juicy.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
MMmmmm this is great recipe!!! I made this using the wingetts and drummetts and it came out perfect. It has lots of juices and oils from cooking, so remember to drain it for the last 10 or 15 minutes of baking. This would be great for parties and get togethers. Can't wait to make it again =)
