I went to use this recipe this morning, only to find that my milk had actually gone sour....but realized I had almond milk in the fridge and decided to give it a shot and hoped for the best. Still used the vinegar even though I wasn't sure if the almond milk would "sour" like real milk does, only used 1 tablespoon of butter and added a little vanilla and some apple pie spice... and they still came out absolutely DELICIOUS as ever!! So for anyone wondering if this can still be made without traditional milk, it definitely can be! Thanks so much for this recipe...it's definitely one of my go-to's!
