Indian Style Basmati Rice
Great recipe as written. Have made this a few times now and only added a few cloves to it. I recommend whole spices if you can get them- we have a few good Indian/Pakistani groceries nearby. Husband would eat this every day if he could!

Grilled Lemon Chicken
Really good recipe. Have made this twice now. Eyeballed the dijon and garlic and marinated for about 4-5 hours each time just because. Didn't use red pepper either time as didn't have any and I don't think it suffered for it. Marinade seems like it would make a pretty good dressing for greens as well- basically a vinaigrette type dressing. I'll have to try it. Served tonight with rice pilaf and roasted asparagus. Good spring dinner everyone loved!

Guinness(R) Corned Beef
Terrific! Hubby and kids all loved it- none left for sandwiches, unfortunately. I did cook in crock pot with seasoning packet, carrots (to act as rack of sorts) and a scant bottle of Guinness (had to make sure it was good!). I was worried since hubby doesn't tend to like sweet and savory meats but the beer and sugar really balanced out the salty meat. Will make this every year. Thanks!
