Creamy Dill Cucumber Toasties

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2012
Everyone loves this snack and it's perfect for every occasion. Dill is a lovely compliment to the cucumber, but if you don't have any, salt and pepper works just fine too. My favorite is using a baguette for this recipe. 5 stars!

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2012
This recipe was a hit. I made the dip as a previous reviewer has suggested with: 1/2 c orange marmalade, 2 t mustard, 1 t prepared horseradish, dash salt, and honey to taste. TO DIE FOR.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2012
I made this following the recipe exactly and it was delicious! I did buy a frozen Tenderflake pie shell, and followed the directions on the box to bake the pie shell before adding the filling. Once it cooled, I added the pie filling and baked as the recipe called for. No soggy crust! I will be making this recipe again.

Perfect Turkey

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2012
I am so glad I used this recipe for making my first Thanksgiving turkey. It turned out perfectly and there is no need to make any adjustments. Very simple and easy. Adding the wine on top of the turkey before roasting gives a great taste for the gravy. The tastiest gravy I have ever made came from this recipe. I made the gravy by putting in a bit of the potato water in the pan with the roasted carrots, onions, celery and juices. I put the pan on the stove burner over medium heat and whisked the mix while adding a little bit of flour at a time until it thickened up to make a gravy. Then I used a sieve to separate the cooked veggies from the gravy, and that was it! I will definitely use this recipe again!

You must try cooking broccoli this way. I have never thought to roast broccoli, but this is my favorite way. So simple, easy, and delicious.
