This recipe is a winner-winner-winner! Definitely the best calzone I've ever had, and the family said the same. I didn't have ricotta cheese, and people had advised against cheddar, so I used cottage cheese, Parmesan, and mozzarella. Also, I added a clove of garlic, oregano, black olives, and Italian seasoning to the filling. I split the dough into 8 mini-calzones as others had suggested, and that worked GREAT. Highly recommended!!!! I will definitely make this over and over.
