Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
These are simple to make, look SUPERB, and taste AMAZING! I would say the best cinnamon buns I've ever had (I've had lots of different kinds), and the family LOVED them. Notes: I did not use a bread machine, but otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly, and everything seemed perfect. I only did one times the icing recipe; any more would have been too much.

Real Italian Calzones

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
This recipe is a winner-winner-winner! Definitely the best calzone I've ever had, and the family said the same. I didn't have ricotta cheese, and people had advised against cheddar, so I used cottage cheese, Parmesan, and mozzarella. Also, I added a clove of garlic, oregano, black olives, and Italian seasoning to the filling. I split the dough into 8 mini-calzones as others had suggested, and that worked GREAT. Highly recommended!!!! I will definitely make this over and over.

Country House Bed and Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
Delicious!! I didn't have croutons, so I tore up bread that was in the freezer, and that worked just fine. I also added black olives, diced onions, and salt and pepper to the egg mixture, and everything turned out GREAT. I love this recipe because it's so flexible based on what you have in the refrigerator, but it brings scrambled eggs up to a whole new level! Highly recommended, and this will become a new regular-breakfast meal for me.

Breadsticks with Parmesan Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
These were good. As recommended and for more much-needed flavor, I brushed the hot breadsticks with a mixture of softened butter, Italian seasoning, a little salt, and minced garlic. They were very tasty. I had difficulty with shaping them, though. Especially since there were so many, and they couldn't all be baked at one time. The breadsticks came out more like fat, long rolls. I may or may not make these again.

Definitely met expectations! Easy, and super delicious! A very moist muffin, and the crumbs add the perfect crunch. :)

White Christmas Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
When I made this recipe, I got the following response: "Amazing." The cake was absolutely scrumptious and the frosting was delicious. I poured the batter into a (well-greased-and-floured) 11x15 pan, instead of doing a layered cake, and that worked out great. Highly recommended! People'll love it. :)
