Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2014
After reading so many reviews before making this I decided to doctor it up to our taste. This recipe was a fantastic foundation & I am grateful that I came across it! I sautéed minced garlic & onion in butter, browned the chicken a bit. I then added chicken stock, water, salt & pepper to par boil until cooked through. The stock really made the noodles flavorful. I did not have any sour cream, so I added milk & the chicken/noodle stock to one can of cream of chicken soup. I added broccoli, thyme, rosemary & omitted the butter with the crackers. I did add some sharp cheddar on top of mixture but under crackers to half of it (some like cheese, some don't!). I LOVED the cheese with it. This was the comfort food I was looking for on such a cold, cold day.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2014
We loved this recipe! I ran out of eggs & had a 5 yr old who really wanted to make blueberry muffins, so we did have to substitute out of necessity. I used 1/3 c applesauce& smashed up a banana instead of egg. I also added 1 tsp vanilla as suggested by other reviewers. I doubled the recipe to make a batch of blueberry and a batch of chocolate chip. I did not double the topping recipe and had enough for both batches. We just had them as an after school snack right out of the oven. Heavenly! Thank you for sharing!

Excellent starter recipe for my family! I have small children who will not eat veggies, so I pureed broccoli & spinich with the soup & cheese mixture & added some garlic salt. Loved it! Thank you!

Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
This recipe is delicious without any adjustments! They are just like the fresh spring rolls that I used to get at a favorite Vietnamese restaurant when I lived in LA. Rolling the rice paper is a little tricky, but it just takes a little practice. These are a great appetizer & will pleasantly suprise your guests if you are entertaining!

Country White Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
This bread came out of the oven like it was from a bakery! I am a new bread-maker, so that made me feel very proud! Not only did it look beautiful, but it tasted fabulous! My 2 yr old had a slice and said "Dee-licious! I will make this again and again.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: May 29, 2009
Excellent bread! This was my first time ever making bread. I do not have a kitchen aid or bread machine and felt like I had to be messing up the recipe, but it was delicious. I followed the directions to the letter (except I used mostly whole wheat flour). Definitely a great bread for a newbie like myself. Very moist! Thank you!

I just ate my first slice of this bread and it is delicious! I added a tsp of vanilla, a little cinnamon, baby food carrots & applesauce (I have to sneak in veggies for my 2 yr old!) and it turned out moist and soooo good!
