This is wonderful. Followed suggestions of Mamaspice. you have to use the sirachi hot sauce....it totally makes the dish!

Truly an amazing dish! Used a little milk to keep it creamy and followed the suggestion of mixing the eggs and the cheese together before adding to the pasta. SO DELICIOUS! !!!!!!!!

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
This cake is the end of box mixes for me! It was the most perfect, chocolatey cake ever! It rose nice and high, perfect for slicing in half. The cake itself is moist and dense. The icing is also worth the 5 stars. Great chocolate flavor and it's the perfect spreading consistency. NOTHING is wrong with this recipe! (except the cake doesn't last long enough to enjoy!)

Potato Skillet

Very tasty....I cooked the potatoes in the bacon grease. I didn't have any onions so I used onion powder instead. These turned out great!

New Orleans Corn Bisque with Smoked Sausage

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
Absolutely amazing! Anyone who has any reservations should just go for it! I followed some others advice and sauteed the sausage (used turkey) and onions together. I also added garlic and cajun/creole seasoning for more flavor. What a great meal with cornbread! Even my hubby who doesn't like chowders loved it. DELICIOUS!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: May 1, 2010
I may be stating something that has already been said several times already....but these are fantastic. Made them with my hand-mixer and then refrigerated the prepared rolls overnight. All I had to do was pop them in the oven this morning. So easy! And they turned out great. If you love cinnamon rolls you have to try these!

Balsamic Salad dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2010
This dressing is wonderful. I made it with Penzey's Italian dressing mix and substituted honey for the sugar hoping to give it a slightly thicker consistency. Wow is this yummy!!! And no fat! Perfect!

Hasty Chocolate Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
I will not be able to go back to a box mix. I thought this was very good and very easy. I made this as the recipe states. Only gave it 4 stars because the consistency was a little thick. Made it again tonight with the suggestions of a few others to add melted butter at the end and a little salt. It's very yummy and worth making!

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
First time I made this I made it as written and it was just so-so. Decided to make it again on the stove as more of a chili. Seasoned the meat with taco seasoning and garlic while browning. Used all the same ingredients just didn't add water. Much better this way!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
Made this last weekend for dinner and it was terrific. I didn't cut back on the cans of soup....we love extra gravy. I seasoned the roast really well with pepper and a little garlic powder but otherwise used the recipe as is.....definitely a keeper!

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
I have made this at least 20 times and it always turns out super yummy. However, it's only 5 stars because of the gravy I make with it. I double the spices and heavily coat the chicken. I also use a smoky seasoned salt which adds another level of flavor not in the base recipe. Make sure that you are allowing the chicken to totally brown...a nice deep dark brown. After it has browned I add 3 cups of chicken broth and allow the chicken to cook until it's 180. (About 20-30mins) I then remove the chicken and add my thickener (flour and water paste).....the gravy is always so rich and thick.....super with mashed potatoes but probably good with noodles too. We can't get past mashed potatoes though! It's a great meal that is very fast especially for on the weeknights!

Black Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2010
This was ok....it wasn't anything special. I even added spices since it didn't seem to have anything with any flavor. If I make this again I will use LOADS of garlic and some other seasonings to spice this up.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2010
This is very good. I cut the chicken up into thick strips. I prepared the sauce as suggested by Meredith since I used skinless boneless chicken. I baked for around 45 mins then put them into a crock pot to stay warm for a party. They were the first things to go! Delicious! (Definitely need to use low-sodium soy sauce for this)

Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2010
These rolls are amazing. I made these the first time when I was snow bound and needed sandwich rolls for dinner. They were so good and such a hit that two days later I had to make 3 batches of them for a birthday party! Everyone loved them. Didn't change a thing. They are perfect!

WOW!!! Made this for dinner tonight and it is REALLY good. I cut the chicken into chunks, using pepper and garlic powder for seasoning. The only thing I did different was add an additional can of tomatoes since we love extra sauce. SUPER YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
