Proper English Cottage Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2014
Very good recipe! I used 1 ½ lbs of ground beef and 5 large potatoes for 4 people and it was almost the perfect amount. Sautéed garlic and onions before adding the beef and added some Lawry's Garlic Salt along with Celery salt and the Worcestershire sauce and skipped the cinnamon and oregano to keep the flavor more traditional. Turned out fantastic!

Crab Stuffed Flounder

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2014
Fantastic! I am not a fish-lover but was asked to do something different for dinner, so got some flounder and crab and made this. My only changes were to add green onion instead of the green pepper.. otherwise, followed this recipe to the T. Thumbs up from the entire family

Shrimp Scampi with Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2014
Very good! It seemed a bit simple at first, but we followed the directions and added a few extras, a dash of celery salt and Lawry's Garlic salt and it was fantastic. My 7 year old who typically takes ages to eat his dinner, gobbled this all up in minutes and had seconds! That's saying volumes.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2013
Too many people already added their 2 cents, but I wanted to just say that we too found this soup to be simple to make and everyone loved it! My little 6 year old - who typically needs prodding to eat anything more than the first few bites of anything - had 3 bowls of this!! I added thinly sliced potato strips to add more body as this was our main course and used fresh corn off the cob, but I would think you can add pretty well anything to this and it would be fab!

Buffalo Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2012
I always love Buffalo Shrimp at places like Chili's or TGI Friday's... but have never made them at home. I tried this recipe and loved it! I used Frank's Hot Sauce as the base and added the ingredients below. I didn't change anything and it was fantastic!! Only thing I did was after taking the shrimp out of the oil, I brushed the buffalo sauce on rather than dipping it. They were great!! I"m keeping the sauce to use on BBQ chicken to make Buffalo chicken!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2012
Wowl!! This is by far, the most tender, juiciest and delicious chicken we've ever cooked! We have a weekly "dine-around" with friends and we cooked this for our turn. 8 adults (including 1 very picky eater) went gaga over this dish..

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
I was unsure how you could really make a "5 star" Chicken Pot Pie", but with the comments that I read, I figured I"d try. Take the advice of all the other posts and increase the chicken stock and milk, and combine the ingredients together before cooking. The pie was fantastic! I also made one other change you might like: Try pan-frying the chicken with the onion and butter rather than boil with the veggies.. I think it was much better and the chicken had a nicer texture.

Stuffed Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
Fantastic! I've used recipes from this site many times, but this is simply the best one we've found. The recipe is simple, easy to make and a real crowd-pleaser. If you're entertaining, this one is sure to get rave reviews and look like you're a star chef! Take the author's advise and double the stuffing mix.. you'll be glad you did. We served garlic sauteed mushrooms and brussel sprouts for good color balance and flavor.
