Boscobel Beach Ginger Cake

My husband thought this was pretty good but I think it had a distinct flour taste. It definitely needs icing of some sort.

Quick Vegetable Curry

I'm only giving this one three stars because it was okay (we ate it) but I won't be making it again. It was very bland with the just the amounts of spices indicated. I added lots more chili powder and some curry powder too. Also you need to serve this with rice or couscous and the recipe doesn't suggest it.

This is one delicious soup! The only change I made was using vegetable broth in place of the 5 1/2 cups plain water, just for extra flavor. A hit with kids and adults.

Amish Macaroni Salad

Old-Fashioned Pink Lemonade

This lemonade is more tart than sweet like pink lemonade usually is. I served this at a party and everyone loved it...even the kids that were there! My husband who doesn't like cranberry juice like it too!

Creamy Corn Chowder

This is is a new favorite at our house! The soup is very creamy and filling, you'd never know there's tofu in it. We leave out the red pepper flakes and green peppers and add tons of cracked black pepper...just our personal taste. Best of all it's virtually fat-free! Thanks J.D.!

Kettle Corn

I was a little afraid to try this recipe after reading some of the bad reviews but was desperate for kettle corn. It was wonderful!! I added the sugar when the oil was hot just before the corn started to pop and shook like crazy. I didn't have any problems with scorching. We will be making this again and again! Thanks Sue :)
