I like to cook something special and different from time to time to give my mom a break. She does most of the cooking and it's mostly traditional Italian meals... I like to make really hearty meals. I like soups, casseroles, pasta, bbq, and anything exotic and ethnic! Making Easter bread, frying fish, and dumplings! Italian's can make dumplings from almost any vegetable!!! I made a meat pie called a tortiere with a homemade pie crust! After countless fails, I finally figured out how to manipulate the crust! My first cheesecake was a flop... I used chocolate chip cookie dough because I didn't have graham crumbs...
