Italian Beef in a Bucket

Excellent! I made it exactly as written and it's wonderful! I didn't drain the pickled vegetables, because the recipe didn't say to, so it may have been juicier than necessary. I put it over egg noodles and all five of us love it, including my ridiculously picky 7-year-old son. IMO much too juicy for sandwiches, but I'm sure one could reduce the liquids and solve that problem. I prefer it over noodles. Loved it and it'll be a staple recipe from now on. Thanks!

The Best Parmesan Chicken Bake

Made it nearly exactly as written. I omitted the red pepper flakes because I don't like my food spicy at all. It was definitely easy...so based solely on that I'd give it a higher rating. However it was just ok. Not a bad recipe, but not one I'll make again. My husband seemed to like it but none of my three kids would eat it. I had cut my chicken into large bite sized cubes to make it easier for the kiddos to eat and to simplify serving. It baked about 40 minutes and that was plenty of time. The croutons were soggy on bottom and crispy on top, which really bugged my kids. I should have just kept the croutons off, cooked up spaghetti, then used the sauce over spaghetti and let the kids top it with the croutons. I think it would have better received.

Sauteed Apples

Best ever! Very easy, especially if you have a corer/slicer/peeler for the apples. You'll need to double this recipe (at least) because it'll be gone! I did add vanilla and nutmeg as other reviewers suggested but I think without those additions this would still be a 5-star.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I have always loved making roasts and have always had good luck. This, by far, is our favorite recipe. My husband liked it so much he changed his mind on what he wanted for our Christmas dinner. Instead of his favorite ham, we are now having this roast. I didn't make any changes to the recipe and it was outstanding!

Easy Biscuit Mixture

Very good, very easy. I reduced my ingredients to make 10 and then mixed it all with 1 1/2 cups milk. I've got many more than 10 biscuits and they're wonderful. Going to use them with the biscuits and gravy recipe from here tonight.

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Easiest, softest, yummiest cookies I could possibly make and I am a die-hard chocolate chip cookie fan! I made these yesterday as a last minute (literally!) treat for my daughter's class. I used the recommendations of dividing the white sugar by thirds, using 1/3 brown sugar, 1/3 white sugar and 1/3 confectioner's sugar. So, when I made it using the recipe as written, it became 1/3 cup of each. That was yesterday. My husband loved these so much he volunteered me to make these for a work function of his, tomorrow. (If these weren't so easy, I would have been mad! LOL) Today I'm tripling the recipe, thus 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup confectioner's sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, etc. These are awesome cookies and will be a regular in our home.

Chocolate Dipping Sauce

I made this for dipping strawberries into. I didn't have any evaporated milk so I had to use whipping cream. LOL It was still really good, and the family could barely contain themselves through supper knowing this treat was waiting for them.

Pork Chops with Sour Cream and Mushroom Sauce

5 stars for ease of recipe and that I didn't have to go to the store to get any of the ingredients! I sauted 1 1/2 medium onions in 4 tbsp butter, along with 2 tsp crushed garlic and 2 tsp crushed ginger. After chops were browned, I added the 2 cans of crm of mushrom soup, and maybe 3 tbsp of Marsala wine. I also used a few dashes of sea salt but probably didn't need that. It was wonderful!!!

Amish White Bread

I made this recipe exactly as written and it's wonderful. My kids devoured it and I'm having a hard time from eating it all up, too. LOL There is nothing like fresh bread baking in the oven and this will make even a novice, such as myself, feel like a pro!

Club Sandwich Salad

My family liked this but we left out the dressing. I added sunflower seeds and craisins, too. It was a nice, quick salad to put together which was refreshing on a hot day.
